What is Aquelix's minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 50 units per SKU for most kitchen and bathroom faucets. For shower systems and hotel-grade products, the MOQ is 20 units. For OEM/ODM custom projects, MOQ varies by complexity but starts at 200 units per design. Mixed SKU orders may qualify for lower per-SKU minimums - contact our sales team for a custom quote.
What is the sample lead time?
Standard catalog samples can typically be prepared within 15 business days after payment confirmation. Custom OEM/ODM sample timing depends on design, finish, tooling, and packaging requirements and is confirmed before payment.
What is the bulk production lead time?
Bulk production timing depends on the model, finish, quantity, packaging, certification requirements, and destination. Send your required delivery date with the RFQ and Aquelix will confirm a production schedule before order.

What certifications do Aquelix products carry?
Aquelix products hold: CE (EU), cUPC/IAPMO (US & Canada), WRAS (UK), ISO 9001:2015, and EPA WaterSense on applicable products. Full certificate documents and test reports are available on request.
Can Aquelix supply products for the US and Canadian markets?
Yes. Our cUPC-certified products meet Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) requirements for most US states and Canadian provinces. Products are IAPMO listed. WaterSense-labeled options are available, and applicable products meet California Cal/Green Tier 1 requirements (max 1.8 GPM for kitchen faucets).

Does Aquelix offer OEM and ODM services?
Yes. OEM services include custom logo engraving, branded packaging, custom finishes, and modified specifications. ODM includes complete product design from concept to production. Our engineering team works in SolidWorks and can deliver 3D prototypes within 15 days. OEM MOQ typically starts at 200 units per design.
What finish options are available?
We offer 25+ standard finishes including Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black, Brushed Gold (PVD), Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Bronze, Antique Brass, Polished Brass, and Gunmetal. Custom color matching is available for OEM orders of 500+ units. All PVD finishes carry a 5-year warranty.

What materials are Aquelix faucets made from?
Standard faucet bodies are HPb57-3 brass (lead content <0.25%), meeting US NSF-61 and EU RoHS requirements. Commercial kitchen faucets and shower heads are available in 304 or 316 stainless steel. Cartridges are sourced from Sedal (Spain) or Kerox (Hungary). We do not use zinc alloy (zamak) in any certified product lines.
What quality testing do your products undergo?
Every product line undergoes: 100-hour pressure test at 10 bar, 500,000-cycle cartridge durability test (1,000,000 for commercial), 72-hour salt spray test for finish durability, IQC (incoming quality control), IPQC (in-process), and OQC (outgoing) inspection at every production stage.

What shipping terms does Aquelix offer?
We offer FOB (Shenzhen/Guangzhou), CIF (your destination port), and DDP (door-to-door, delivered duty paid). We partner with Maersk, MSC, and Evergreen for FCL and LCL. Air freight via DHL, FedEx, and UPS is available for urgent or sample orders. All documentation is Incoterms 2020 compliant.
Does Aquelix offer factory audits?
Yes. Our Guangdong facility has passed Sedex SMETA 4-pillar, SGS, and Bureau Veritas third-party audits. Virtual factory tours are available via video call. Contact our team to schedule an in-person or virtual audit.
Installation, Maintenance & Spare Parts
Questions buyers and plumbers frequently raise after comparing fixtures.
Send the mounting-hole diameter, deck thickness, hole spacing, available clearance, supply connection and sink drawing. For pull-out models, also check cabinet space and counterweight travel. Final compatibility should be approved against the exact model drawing and a physical sample.
Replacement-part availability is confirmed by model. For project and distributor orders, request an exploded drawing, service-part list and agreed spare quantity before the purchase order. Keep model and batch references in the handover file.
Choose accessible cartridges and removable or cleanable aerators/nozzles. Confirm approved descaling and cleaning methods, and plan shorter inspection intervals. Water quality can affect service life, so performance claims should be reviewed against local conditions.
Performance depends on the model and dynamic inlet pressure. Provide the lowest expected pressure and request a flow and spray-pattern test at that condition. A rated flow measured at a higher pressure does not guarantee the same user experience on site.
Start with the maintenance period, room count and serviceable components. Typical planning covers cartridges, aerators, hoses, seals, check valves and finish-sensitive trim. The final percentage should reflect local water, expected duty cycle and lead time for replenishment.
Inspection, Claims & Documentation

Inspect against the approved specification and sampling plan: model, dimensions, finish, leakage, flow, handle operation, accessory count, labels, packaging and carton marks. Record photos and results by batch. Project-specific tests must be agreed before production.
No. Certificate or listing scope depends on the exact model, components, materials, factory and destination requirements. Ask for model-level evidence and verify the current listing with the issuing body when required.
Keep the purchase specification, approved sample, inspection record, batch number, photos and installation details. Report the affected quantity and failure mode promptly. The appropriate remedy depends on the verified cause and the agreed sales terms.
Critical components should be locked in the approved specification. Any proposed substitution should be disclosed and approved in writing before use, with updated compliance or test evidence where the change affects it.
